Our Beginning
OUR STORY
Established in 2019 in Lagos, Nigeria, Ofmax Homes was founded on a simple conviction: the objects we touch every day in our kitchens and living spaces have a quiet, profound impact on our sense of peace and wellbeing.
Too often, homeware is either treated as cheap disposable utility or distant luxury meant only for display behind glass cabinets. We built Ofmax to occupy the space between — creating a haven for durable, tactile pieces that are meant to be used, loved, and kept for years.
From heavy cast iron that sears family stews to wheel-thrown stoneware mugs that greet early Lagos sunrises, every item in our showroom is selected to elevate the ordinary into an intentional ritual.
Curation & Vision
MEET THE FOUNDER
“I believe when you choose a bowl or a skillet, you are choosing an enduring companion for your home. You are deciding what will hold food for your children, what your guests will admire around the table, and what will remain resilient year after year.”
Ofmax Homes was born from a love for beautiful, functional pieces and a belief that quality should never be compromised. Since 2019, every collection has been selected with intention — considering how it looks, how it works and how well it will live in a real home. Ofmax Homes is not about simply filling a home with more things. It is about choosing better things — pieces that look beautiful, work beautifully and continue to earn their place in your home.
As founder and head curator, Tosin leads every sourcing relationship directly. Each piece is vetted for balance in the hand, thermal response, material authenticity, and timeless proportion.

HOW WE CURATE
At Ofmax Homes, we believe a beautiful home should be filled with pieces that are made to last.
We curate with intention, looking beyond what is simply on trend to select pieces that offer quality, functionality and timeless appeal. Before an item becomes part of our collection, we consider how well it is made, how beautifully it will sit in your home today, and whether it will still feel relevant for years to come.
Our approach is simple:
- Is it made well? We prioritise quality materials, thoughtful craftsmanship and pieces designed for everyday use.
- Will it stand the test of time? We choose items with lasting function and enduring style, rather than pieces that need replacing after a short period.
- Is it worth bringing into your home? Every piece should offer genuine value — something you can use, enjoy and continue to love for years.
We believe in buying better, not simply buying more. A good piece should serve you beautifully for years, retain its quality and, in many cases, be good investment.
